Instructions for parents


  • Parents can meet their ward only on the First Sunday of every month. If you visit them frequently, your child won't adjust in the school environment.
  • It is strictly prohibited to provide students with edible items fried or roasted in Ghee or Oil. Parents are advised not to provide to their child the above items.
  • Deposit the quarterly charges for food and other expenses on due date so that you can avoid late fee and system of students diet may go on smoothly.
  • Parents are allowed to communicate with their wards only on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
  • A student will not be allowed to attend any marriage or any other ceremony during exam days. There will be no re-examination for students who don't appear in  exams.
  • If a student is suffering from any incurable or chronic disease like T.B., Cancer, Hysteria etc., he will not be allowed to take admission to Gurukul.
  • If a student is unable to submit his School Leaving Certificate, Birth Certificate and Aadhar Card by 20th April his admission will be cancelled.
  • Parents will bring/drop their ward to Gurukul at the time of admission and will accompany them during holidays break.
  • Admission fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • Boarders shall not be permitted to go home during the academic session except Summer Vacation and the Mid-term Vacation. In case of unavoidable circumstances or any emergency a child may be granted leave of maximum five days in an academic session with prior permission from the school Principal. If a child remains absent from the school for 15 days or more at a stretch without written intimation to the Principal, his name shall be struck off from the Admission Register.
  • Compensation for any kind of damage to the school property by a student will be charged to the student's 'Imprest Amount'. They can  be penalised in case of reckless damage.
  • The school will take all possible care for physical fitness of the students. However the school does not accept any responsibility, legal or otherwise, for accidents or mishaps. The school will remain indemnified against any claim on this ground.
  • Discipline, deceny and decorum should be maintained by each student. Any act of mischief, breach of rules, disobedience or disloyalty to the school by the student or parents can be considered as an act of indiscipline. The school reserves the right to expel a student on the ground of misconduct, indiscipline or disregard of the school rules and regulations.
  • Any sort of discrepancy, false statement or misrepresentation of facts by parents at the time of admission, when found, would result in dismissal of the student from the school.
  • Student shall not keep mobile phone or any other electronic gadget or any cash in their possession in hostel. If found, the same will be confiscated and will not be given back either to the student or parents or any guardian. Disciplinary action will also be taken against the child. Parents are advised not to give any costly jewellery to their ward. School management will not be responsible for any loss thereof.
  • Any change in the address or telephone or mobile number of the parents must be immediately informed by the parents to the school authority in written form.
  • Parents are expected to attend all Parent- Teacher Meetings (Both parents should come.)
  • Parent will bring/drop their ward to Gurukul at the time of admission and will accompany them during  holidays break.
  • Any student found cheating in any Periodic Assessment or Mid Term exams shall get zero in that test. However, in case of Half Yearly or Final Examination the child shall get zero in all the subjects of that examination.
  • From time to time important information will be sent via SMS or E-mail to the parents/guardians. Hence they are requested to check them regularity.
  • Parents are requested not to enter any classroom or any hostel room without prior permission of the Principal.
  • Students should not bring any eatables in the school/Gurukul, except what is permitted by the Principal. If a student is found keeping any such item in his possession without permission of the Principal, it will be confiscated and distributed amongst others and disciplinary action will also be initiated against that child.
  • Parents can authorize maximum three persons in the Guardianship form with their passport size photograph and signature as the guardian of the child. Only the authorized parents/guardians will be allowed to meet or to take the child when the child goes home. In unavoidable situation if none of the parents/guardians can come the child may be allowed to go with anyone coming with a letter signed by any of the parents or authorised guardians.
  • Parental co-operation can never be overlooked. Understanding between the teachers and the parents is essential for the comprehensive or holistic development of a child. It has been proven by the researchers that the performance of a child depends immensely on the parents' direct involvement with the school/Gurukul.
  • Students shall be bound by different rules and regulations framed from time to time by the Management for smooth running of the school/Gurukul.
  • All round development of a child is our primary goal. To fulfil this objective, here young children are taught how to adopt Swadeshi way of life based on Yoga and Ayurveda with satvik and nutritious food. it is expected that the parents of the child should have the inclination towards the same.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Yamunanagar courts of law only.
